about

so fast you can't see him, the ghost rider
leaving a tracer on the retina,
the light writer on a bike
dipping down into the flickering city
to the water's edge
there you'll find a trail to follow
to oak's bottom bog, where there still stands one old tree
it's hollow
were you to be watching you'd see a brief flicker of light in the old crumbling limbs
and the sound of singing, a mysterious hymn
sung into the deep green darkness
what is decay but life?

the night is full of expectancy
it could be love, it could be danger, it could be about to rain
